Salade Tahitienne

Ingredients

  • 500gm of yellow fin tuna or any sashimi grade seafood(can be snapper, kingfish , swordfish, tuna)
  • 200ml of fresh lime juice
  • 500ml of coconut cream
  • Olson salt flakes
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 continental cucumber 2 pieces of spring onions

Method

  • Cut the tuna in thin strips of equal sizes, sprinkle a good amount of salt flakes, cover with fresh lime juice.
  • Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
  • Once the fish has marinated, squeeeze the excess lime juice but pressing with your hands, place in a salad bowl.
  • Peel and cut your tomatoes brunoix size.
  • Cut your cucumber similar size to the tomatoes.
  • Grate your 2 carrots into strips.
  • Slice your spring onions thinly.
  • Add all your vegetable to the fish mix well, add the coconut cream and a  good pinch of salt.
  • Let it marinate for at least an hour, the longer the better. Once the fish and the condiments have marinated the fish will become a white color, this means its ready to enjoy! If you would like to make some steam rice to go along or a crunchy baguette that would be the perfect side. Bon apetit!
